The Fourth International Chocolate Awards World Final.

This year’s competition will be held during Chocolate Week in the UK, with the World Ceremony taking place during The Chocolate Show in London at 6pm on 17 October 2015.

The World Final will judge the best of the plain/origin and flavoured bars, filled chocolates/bonbons and spreads from this year’s winners from around the world.

All entries are judged blind on a level playing field with no reference to previous wins.


Entry is by qualification through a Gold, Silver or Bronze prize win at a National, Regional or Semifinal competition only.

Winners of all the year’s competitions except Growing Country Support competitions and the World Drinking Chocolate competition will be invited to enter their 2015 winning entries in the World Final.

Only the 2015 winning products may be entered and may not be substituted for alternate products. Different batches are acceptable as are batch variations and recipe changes that do not significantly alter the product in such as way that it would constitute a different retail product.

The admission fee for this competition is GBP £40 and the fee for each entry is GBP £25. Prices will be converted into local currency by your credit card company, if required.

To ensure your samples are in the best condition for the competition, please do not send for delivery before the samples opening date. For fresh products such as ganaches, you are advised to send in the last week before the closing date.

Sample quantities

To ensure that we have enough products go through our Selection, Main and Grand Jury judging rounds, please send the following quantities of EACH product you enter:

  • Bars: 400g (14 ounces) total weight in bars total weight
  • Filled/bonbons etc: 30 pieces
  • Spreads: 300 grams/10 ounces
