This contest, the first of its kind in a cacao-producing country, will take place in the historic city of Lima and is open to all organizations, companies and chocolatiers in Peru, accepting the following products: chocolate bars of origin (dark, with milk and white); flavored chocolate bars – natural flavouring ingredients – (dark, milk and white) with infusions or powders, with inclusions and fillings, pralines, bonbons, and chocotejas, chocolate-coated fruits, chocolate spreads, and cacao ingredients such as cocoa powder and cocoa butter.

The competition will be carried out according to a duly validated online system and will be in two stages, after receipt and coding of products, 1) General Evaluation, which consists of an appreciation of the products by a heterogeneous group of evaluators (qualified national and international guest judges) 2) Final Evaluation by a highly specialized Grand Jury.
