Eastern European Winners 2015
The International Chocolate Awards is pleased to announce the Winners of our first Eastern European Competition, which was judged from 17 – 20 September, 2015 in Budapest, Hungary. Eastern European encompasses Eastern, Central and North Eastern Europe and is the first international competition to support the growing interest in fine cacao and chocolate in these regions.
Judges
The judging panel was made up of member of our Grand Jury and international judges who traveled to Budapest, joined by local chefs, journalists, bloggers and chocolate specialists.

Prizes
The categories judged included flavoured chocolate bars, filled chocolates and spreads, and are based on yearly feedback from our entrants and in consultation with the fine chocolate industry. All judging is anonymised, including at the Grand Jury final session, where Golds, Silver and Bronze prizes are awarded by private voting according to the Grand Jury rules.
Awards are awarded only to entries that meet the required standard for each prize.
